Oleg Zubarev is a Managing Director with Alvaraz & Marsal Private Equity Performance Improvement in London.
Mr. Zubarev specializes in pre-deal work, leading buy- and sell-side commercial and operational due diligence projects for private equity clients, as well as improvement programmes for portfolio companies. He has worked across a range of industries, including life sciences, chemicals, consumer, energy and infrastructure.
Prior to joining A&M, Mr. Zubarev spent 25 years in consulting and industry. He spent 13 years with Kearney, where he most recently helped build the Private Equity practice, having started in the chemicals and energy industry verticals.
Additionally, Mr. Zubarev has worked on 100+ transaction and led a number of large scale transformation projects for portfolio companies. Before Kearney, Mr. Zubarev worked with BP and JTI. He began his career as a tax consultant with Arthur Andersen.
Mr. Zubarev earned a bachelor’s degree in engineering and economics from St. Petersburg Engineering and Economics Academy and an MBA in economics and finance from the University of Chicago Graduate School of Business.
